Well I thought I would let everyone know that the great fires of san diego are coming now... One is 7 miles north and closing in and the other is 8 miles east and closing so I'm making a run for it.. Ssmokin has already been evacuated from his home as of yesterday and now its my turn so i'm outtie wish us luck...

My babies would be in the car, on the front seat, being treated like royalty if it was me. I hate that shelters are unwilling to accept pets. I waited out a serious tropical storm (Alison) and ignored mandatory evacuations because they wouldn't let me take my pet with me. It's like knocking on your door and saying that you can pick 3 family members, but you've gotta leave one behind.

****, i cant wait till i can go back home. i slept maybe one hour lastnight. i was glued to the tv making sure my home didnt burn down. We were forced to evacuate yesterday around noon. So far my home is still safe, however they wont let us return home cause its still too dangerous. looks like things are starting to calm down though. wishfull thinking?

Thanks u guys so they gave us the go ahead to go back home but my balt is still packed cuz there predicting the fires to be out a week from thursday....ssmokin got to go home to so hopefully this is it and no more scares
