I have a wife, dog and daughter and it's going to somewhat of a shock to go from little town Florida to big city LA. Would like a decent commute (<45min on a good day).

Any suggestions for a place to live that's generally safe for the family? I'm working in Redondo so somewhere nearby that commutable and affordable.

Don't want to spend more than $2500/mo on rent. Any help is appreciated.

 

haha redondo or manhattan are nice so is seal beach and long beach has some nice areas too i live in huntington beach but prob more than a drive than you what wutcha gonna be doing for work?

Is a 2br/2ba w/parking doable for 2500/mo in Redondo? What websites to locals use to find apartments or condos? Is there any area within a 10mi radius that I should avoid?

 

haha redondo is nice torrance is nice too but stay away from la or compton or inglewood lol thats the hood websites to look for that locals use not really sure but craigslist is always good and free!

 

You can look near El Segundo, Hawthorne, Lawndale and Gardena. Im guessing yur gonna work for the on in LAX by the 105?
