Redid the exhaust on the car...

stock header
custom 3" dp w/ high flow cat
3" resonator
2.5" custom catback to a stock muffler and tip.

OMG... tis amazing... has a lil growl still, and it's fricken quiet!

No more... whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.......... wooooooooooooooooooo. vroooooooooooooooo........... vrhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...... baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah....

pop... pop.... bauuuooooo... pop.....

Tired of excess cabin noise
Tired of exhaust drone
Tired of standing next to my car and having to raise my voice.
Tired of baby footing it next to police cars
Tired of hitting my up usual/ROUTINE canyon and sounding like your typical VROOM VROOM Honda Civic.

I like the peace and quiet
I like how the stock muffler sounds
I like how the car isn't set eyes on because of the exhaust...
I like how I can have peace of mind about cops no matter where I go now.

My car is officially street legal, and I LOVE it lol. (This is of course if the roaming ocifer... doesn't notice the 60 lb injectors, 3" pulley, ported blower, larger throttle body, EHM... METH lol

Rusty, I've kept the Custom 3" DP I had made for me. I just added a high flow cat to it.

i damand a sound clip now because the stock lsj muffle sounds soo ricey but that of course is completly stock. U feel any power drops?

 

Did you run a resonator? I've yet to hear any stock cobalt exhaust sounding ricey... especially w/ that stock DP on.

I'm sure it's lost power; feels tamer

Got around to making a proper timing MAP for it. running 16-18* after 4000 rpm for the time being. basically stg2, w/ a 3" DP, and some other under the hood goodies.

But, I haven't gone WOT really yet; need to dial in AFR.

I don't even know what it's boosting. But if I had to guess... I'll prob. see 15psi @ 7000 rpm.

 

yea dude it was completley stock cobalt. I think it sounded soo crappy. steve does too.lol. U shouldnt have lost a whole lot of power since the lsj exhaust flows pretty well. I still demand a sound clip

 

Well I took it for a spin in the canyons earlier, and I noticed I was able to power thru most turns in 3rd w/o having to down shift into 2nd.

It makes boost quicker, that I noticed.
