I have no clue how it sounds since it hasn't been on a car for over 3 years. It's definitely not in the greatest condition since its sat on the side of my house for almost 3 years. If you want to come pick it up its yours I just want to get rid of it.

 

what is your setup?

i bought a dynomax super turbo muffle, 3in chamber to be the same size as my 3in catback

havent been hassled since. i have Vibrant so it was loud

its pretty quiet at cruising speeds and its raspy on WOT and then quiet at the top of the rpms

the sound could depend on full exhaust setup too

 

I have a shorty header to 3 inch zzp catted downpipe, in to a custom 3 inch exhaust, I'm using a 24 inch long cherry bomb as a resonator and I have a 3 inch summit racing turbo flow muffler

 

Its too loud?

 

The cop that pulled me over thinks so, its not super loud but its definitely not stock

 

idk how u are gonna go about it but just pay the fine and figure out a different muffler that flows but isnt straight thru

i put my stock muffler on my vibrant catback and it didnt pass the db levels

it was quiet but caused back pressure and i would blow dp gaskets left and right

 

The beautiful thing about lnfs throw on a catless dp with stock catback and it sounds great but still quiet.

The muffler i does flow and is not straight through so I don't know what else is out there, to quiet it

 

then just pay it and go about your life. if u get another ticket then try a different muffler
