man no lie but the stock clutch can take a beating..it can last for a while depending on how u drive...you can have no slippage as well depending on how u drive...but for better launching and **** if ur making a grip of power then it would be useful to upgrade...but idk anyone who has an upgraded clutch...

O. Its cus, in certain situations ive noticed the clutch was slipping even early on. been times ive dropped the hammer n the revs shot trhough the roof with the clutch ALL the way out. Just always wondered how much better itd be if i had a better clutch, just that it is a complicated task (tear it apart)and I aint come across a place i can trust 2 do the instalation. ANd it dont help i read in the LSJ performance book the clutch should be upgraded if u want 2 make the most of the stage 2 upgrade...

Mine was slipping horrible for a while.. I was just about to purchase a new clutch.. But read up on the thread about clutch slippage and how to drive in order to save your clutch..
Used tips such as.. Never shifting before 3k rpms.. Don't grandma the car because it's not meant to be grandma'd... Minimize the time it takes to shift into each gear (don't ride the clutch at all.. Although you do sacrifice a little bit of ride quality and gas mileage by doing this)...
And now.. My clutch is as good as new.. Grabs like a ****. Completely worth the change in driving style. Try it out. I bet you it will work.
