Hey david, you wouldn't happen to have the leather option seats in that 08 would you? I think the 08 came with the leather option racing seats didn't it?

 

nope they are the silver/black ss/tc seats they didnt offer any leather in 08 and plus the car is gone

 

Damn it, oh well, my quest to find leather seats is ongoing then.

 

haha why u want leather seats? the only thing you can do is get some leather sparcos or cobras and them aint cheap

Yea and thats why I wanted to get used leathers. They just look and feel nice like the car is more expensive than it really is... My one exception to the rule "if it doesn't make it go fast or stop fast it gets left behind"

Haha I have my secrets for dealing with the 5-0. I haven't gone all out by any stretch of the imagination... not yet anyways. cmiller and all those swapped turbo/ built motor guys would be more of going all out guys. I'm pretty much done modding this thing for a while now. I'm looking at a Tropical teal turquoise 1957 Chevy Bel Air 4-door. All original even original paint, perfectly straight body, very very very minimal surface rust in 3 tiny spots. Yea the balt is going back into sevice as the daily driver and the 57 will be the weekend warrior.

Yea I can't wait, I'll see about a few pictures when I get home from work tonight. I got some at my home computer. It's going to sound beastly with a cammed 454 in it, well in comparison to the little 283 anyway.

So here is my reason for not modding the balt anymore:

Notice the black plate, original paint, original chrome, and straight body. There are some interior pics through the window but they aren't that good. It belongs to a friend of my dad. I guess he is bored with it. Next year she shall be mine.

 

i never had problems with cops and aftermarket parts. just user error of the car. lol
