well.. i know there was a lot of talk going on about making the club "SoCal Ecotecs"..
and i was wondering if it actually got anywhere...

at the moment, it's only a few ppl. Eric and I are trying to bring it back, and aaron has jumped on board to help.

Some of the old guys like Rusty, Fernando, and Jarrod are down, but it's gonna take some organization.

hey we talked about who was gonna take over, but no one did, not my fault!

 

We need to pick a weekend like we used to(ie. 3rd sunday of every month) and keep it simple at a park with good size parking, a bbq, good canyon cruise, and maybe dinner after for whoever wants to. The cruise is really what makes a good meet.
I dont think we should do it every month though, it was getting to be to much, and i think thats why people didnt come as much... If we did one every other month we would have better turn outs. We could still do our small meets whenever, but i think we should pick a weekend and try to get a major "socal ecotecs meet" every two months.

word up i agree in my old team aka team showcase we had a meet every month paid dues and hada bring something and then once a month we hada do a car show but thats because we were a car club that had full showcars and then you also hada wear your shirt to every meet or they fucked with you for example made you wear no shirt the whole meet gave you a wedgie sharpied **** on your face haha

haha you didnt miss much and it didnt really get anywhere yet so dont worry but pretty much just trying to get socalecotecs back up and running and have a BIG meet every other month instead of every month that way its more exciting and people dont get bored of it and burnt out and actually ******* come ya know

 

i can set meets up, i have set up quite a few successful meets in the past and i dont mind...

 

im down to help out i was in a car club before and im not a flake as long as its on sundays and i mean yest was my first meet setup and i think it went pretty well especially for still being a relatively new member ya know

 

ya im thinking in the 2nd sunday of every other month

 

im down and everybody has to get a shirt to wear to the meets and have at least one sticker on their ride of sce whos gonna be the leader of the new school?haha
