Hey Viper. Hey were you at the track a couple weeks ago?

 

I'm actually in the Henderson area, out toward Lake Las Vegas.

 

It has been about a month since I went and I ran a 14.8 with a bad O2 sensor and a CEL on. The car is fixed now, but I have been moding like crazy since I got it back. Just put my Ingalls on last night, I am putting my Hurt and Injen on today. I will be insatalling my 2.5 DP next week, and I am still waiting on my Aeroforce gauge to come in from CA. I also bought a streetglow under car light kit that is being installed in a couple of weeks. Man I tell you what, I have been waiting to do this for a long time. My orange car was in the dealer so much that I never really did anything to it besides the CAI and the GMMP parts, but now that I have a car without any problems I am moding the **** out of it.

 

Congrats on a fully functional car, lol. Sounds like your having a blast though, I wont get that itch until I get to Virginia in the next couple weeks. I was at the track May 30th and it hopped real bad too quick for me, and broke the tranny case and leaked fluid into the clutch and destroyed it. They ended up covering it because the crack was in a faulty area but I dont plan on going to the track til motor mounts and CAB's. Hows the Damperer?

 

Worth every penny. I would reccomend that over the engine mounts, but the CAB's is a good idea. It just deppends on what you want. The Engine mount will cause major vibrations in the car, but the ingalls is not as bad and does the same thing. The ingalls is also easily removed for street use and then two bolts and it is back on for the track. I tested my car last night and did some launchs and 4grand trying to spin the tires to test for hop. I could burn the tires in 1st as long as I wanted with no hop, and even hit 2nd hard with out any hop. I cant wait to take it to the track.

 

Damn, sounds like good like everyone has made it out to be. As far as the engine mount goes. Ive never heard of it giving bad vibes. The tranny mounts on the other hand, ive heard shakes the car real bad for the first weeks.
