F/S Nitro 4-Tec 3.3
Traxxas has an engine exchange program where you send them your old one and they send you a new one, FREE. At least that was the deal when I had my T-Max. Why rebuild it when they'll give you a new one?
And yea, I loved running it. Also remember though, that the gallon and a half includes the break in process as well.
4 tanks should have done the break in. Not unless they changed the process. Find out if you can get a new engine, if not I may still be interested. A big block swap should be fun!
Gay!! This is from Traxxas.com....
"The Traxxas Lifetime Engine Replacement Plan now allows the exchange of a Traxxas nitro engine (TRXŽ Pro.15, TRX 2.5, or TRX 2.5R) for the ultimate power of the TRX 2.5R or TRX 3.3 Racing Engines. Nitro Rustler, Nitro 4-Tec, and Maxx truck owners can now easily and affordably upgrade to the same powerful and good looking TRX 3.3 Racing Engine that powers the top-of-the-line RevoŽ."
The TRX 3.3 isn't eligible. You can upgrade to the 3.3 but not return a 3.3 for a new one. At least that's what it seems like right there.

I dunno. I'm still looking around to see if I can find something. But everything is for all other motors except the 3.3.....

Hahaha, yea, 1 tank I'm sure doesn't make too much of a difference. I'm about to head out to go to the mall. There's a Hobby Shop so I will stop by there and see what they know about the Engine Replacement Program. They are usually very knowledgeable not only about RC but what different companies offer as far as "benefits" and such.
Well, if nobody want's to buy it, maybe I'll drop an OS .32 motor in it with a 3 speed tranny.
Anybody interested in the 4-Tec?? It's still here waiting for a new owner! Still asking $200 shipped, but will be willing to come down off the price depending on offer.
Come on guys!!
Come on guys!!
I can still get a body for it. I'm not sure how much the motor has left, but it only has about a gallon of fuel run through it and they can usually go for about 4 gallons before the motor needs a new piston/sleeve.
I'll drop the price to $150 shipped.
