Here's a free bump for you, man. New to CSS but folks know me over on the RLF. A piece of advice for you, try taking it to a family-run or independent jewelry shop to have it appraised. An appraisal will help people to know what they're buying. Shops around me will do a written appraisal for $40-$-60. Plus, while you're trying to sell it, you might want to have it insured, and insurance companies won't write a policy on something like that without a written appraisal. Last thing you would want to happen would be for the ring to get lost or stolen while you're still paying for it, and for it to not be insured. On the other hand, if something were to happen to it, it'd be worth the money for the policy.

In case you're wondering, the policy on my fiancee's ring was only $49 a year (with State Farm, no less). About $100-$110 for peace of mind if something happens to the ring would be worth it. Sorry about the misfortune, best of luck.

I understand. I'm just saying. If you were to drop the $150 to get it appraised and insured, you are unable to sell it, and then something were to "happen" to it, then you'd be covered, even if it was lost and not stolen. If you're picking up what I'm putting down.

I don't understand why they wouldn't give a ring back?
How cold hearted do you have to be to keep that sort of thing?

The size is too big for my girl, and the design isn't what she likes, but I'll keep an eye out for ya.

Oh yeah, and I'm broke, so that doesn't help either lolololol.

It's not your best bet to try and sell an expensive ring on a car forum, just some advice. Try ebay, or a jewelery forum, or craigslist. CSS.net should be your last place you try.
