Nice. My specs are a little better though. I would be willing to go $400 to match:

HP Pavilion ze5000 Notebook

2.2GHz Pentium 4
1.00GB RAM (Added 512MB after purchase)
40.0GB Hard Drive
8X CD-RW/DVD-ROM Combo drive (Brand New Replacement)
15” LCD Screen
802.11b Integrated Wireless
(3) USB 1.1
(1) Firewire 4-pin

Includes:
IBM Mini USB mouse
(1) Power Adapters (Brand New)
(6) System Restore disks with Windows XP Home
Service Manual (pdf format) on CD-ROM
Carrying Case

Unless you just want a cheap laptop fo tuning, then if you want cheap, you probably won't be getting a warranty.

yes. sadly guys, I really appreciate your offers, and those are great systems but joe is understanding my situation perfectly.
if i was out to spend 400+ i would be at a bestbuy.

I completely appreciate how good those systems are, and the price is very fair.
but at this point im looking for an "it will do the job" laptop around the cheap and dirty $200-300 dollar mark shipped to my door.

and i would feel bad lowballing nice systems like that.

want an honest opinion?

laptops are like televisions or dishwashers... no one just "Gets rid of one".

it's either been replaced, or has an issue.

if you want to be at that low of a price, dude, wait in line for one of those $199 black friday deals.

yeah this is just an effort to see if i can snag a good deal.

Ive already been shopping at bestbuy/walmart etc and priced out a few.
im basically just giving it a few days to see if anyone happened to have what im looking for layin around hehe.

Im perfectly willing to go buy a new one at 400, but cant blame a guy for penny pinchin here and there
