You need to get those pics up, thats the rims I want to order. Although, you're in houma, and I'm in lafayette, it might be awkward if you ever head out this way and we pull up to a light next to each other.

hows the ride with the new rims and the drop? I'm kind of scared to go too low with the way Louisiana's roads are.

I have had no problems so far except for a really bad drop off of a bridge locally. I would do it its a perfect fit. I was thinking of cruising your way tomorrow.

Does anyone know if the 18x8's MSR045's will clear the Brembo caliper on the 08-09 Cobalt SS Turbo?

Not sure... They are for a friend of a friend '09 Coablt Turbo car.... she just bought one and had swapped to winter tires on the stock wheels. So she will be looking for a set of new wheels for the stock conti tires coming in the spring. I thought I would forward this forum thread to her to get her more info on alternate wheels that are available.

I'm probably just half retarded but I can't seem to find a good answer.
What tires would be best for the 045's since it is 18x8. I'm looking for one that would keep stock height, you know not throwing off the speedo. For some reason 225/40/18 is in my head.

Go with a 235/40/18 for the 18x8.

Roll the fenders. Hammer could crack your paint too easily.
