Vibrant only sells this as a kit, as the downpipe will not work with any other brand header, nor will the header work with any other brand downpipe.

this will work with the 2.2, requires little modding, when i say little, i mean little little, u hit one coolant line a few times with a rachet, it wont break unless u really beat on it, just a few whacks and ur done

Sorry, this complete kit is the only "down pipe" for the 2.2L I would consider we carry...

no they come direct from the manufacturer that way, these are not custimizable, unless u bought it, took it to a shop to get it cut off.

Just curious...what are the specs on it exactly? I saw 1.75" primaries...collector size? DP size? Bolts to 2.5"? Curious because it looks like it's overkill for a 2.2.

Not sure if it makes a difference, but I don't plan on doing much to my car for performance (at least for a while). So Injen intake, header/dp, cat-back, tune will be it for quite some time. Later on possibly LSJ SC or turbo, but nothing special...basically a stock LSJ setup or Garrett setup...low boost. I know this is a quality piece, but I'm just curious if it's worth me spending that kind of money on something like this when my cat-back is a stock LSJ setup (restrictive compared to aftermarket) and not planning on much power, more MPG right now.

Curious because I have a 2.2 and an LSJ cat-back that's ready to be installed any time. Also, any problems with it rubbing on anything like the LSJ DP does on an auto?
