2.2 BETA Test

I have had several requests to start a new thread for the 2.2 programming.

Vince of Trifecta is going to be working at this.

Here's how the system works, once programming is available:

http://www.trifectaperformance.com/6Steps/6Steps-1.htm
Click on the picture to schroll to the next page.

We have our BETA testers signed-up. We'll let everyone know how this project goes.
Thanks for all the interest. Please reply here ONLY for 2.2 related tuning questions. I have been overwhelmed with PM's and email.

Thanks everyone.

Will this fix more simple tune related issues like being able to replace a Shift+ piggyback?

Also you mentioned you might have headers too? Would this be a non-SAI header to replace a SAI header, with a tune available to reprogram the ecu so it won't throw codes?

Hello everyone, I am going to be testing the E16A tune on my 2006 LS 2.2

Once this tune is finished and tested on my car, me and Tom (NWAE) will have a combined review.

I am looking very forward to testing this tune out.. I am also the out of state tester for this just to clarify it

I would also like to throw out a HUGE THANKS to clear imaging "DAN" and Vince for giving all us 2.2s the opertunity to be tuned by software and not just a piggyback..

Just to also clarrify the tune is for both e16a and the e37 ecu. Meaning all year cobalts

Thank you guys once again and i look forward to the tune

EDIT: Nevermind saw post above, AWESOME!

Programming for the 07 will be first. 05-06 will be later. Manual tranny first.
More coming guys. Give us some breathing room.

Thanks.

so how will you guys test for the added aftermarket parts.

Like will you make a tune for just CAI or exhaust
then a combination of both?

Also how do we get things tested like 2.4 manifold on a 2.2 Cause I have one and I know we are missing some potential there.

THanks for helping us 2.2 guys

Im unfamiliar with trifecta as a company. Does their software allow us to make our own tunes? or do they just send us a canned tune that fits w/e mods we have?
