I hope all of you who bought it used lock tight to install yours. Its a nice looking antenna and works great so be careful not to get it stolen. Ive had mine for about 6 months or so and no probs with reception whatsoever.

Sweet! I was wondering if anyone was going to make just a nub/cover but this one works and looks pretty dang nice!
I was a bit put off with the stock one, it kept rattling loose. Not to mention it was a bit of a downgrade from the manual retractable a-pillar one on my old escort. I could push it in if I wasn't using it (which was 99% of the time)
It would be cool to have it before the Columbus, OH meet. I think someone is going up with tools to mod the stock ones. It would be interesting to compare.
EDIT: Wait a minute this is aluminum? This isn't the black anodizing that turns to a dull brass color is it? I've had that happen to parts, and seen it happen to other ppls aftermarket antennas.

OK... Most itemshipped USPS Priority Mail Service. It will take about 4 to 5 US , 7 to 10 to Canada or International delivery.
Once you have confirmation number, that means we shipped item from our location in CALIFORNIA warehouse. Just to be patience.... It will get there without any doult.

No answer yet on the finish? It doesn't look anodized in the pics so fingers crossed. If it does end up fading, I'll just haveto paint it body color

When I got my projectors from EBAY it did the same and like 2 hours before it came it said it arived in Jacksonville then took another 2 hours after it was delivered to even say it was....so maybe busy season or something?
