Joeworkstoohard - Unfortunately B&M does not make one for the 2.2 or 2.4 yet.

Ajss - We should still have plenty in stock.

bump.
Do you sell hurst shifters? or just the B&M
If so what price can you get us on them?

btw, arent group buys where you, as a vendor, go to the manufacturer and get us a much reduced price directly, because of the buying power of numbers? hence why the price gets lower depending on how many people buy....

this appears more to be a "sale" than a group buy.

I think I'll have to jump on this deal. You can keep your safety reverse trigger with this shifter? I want to use my stock knob and reverse safety trigger thing haha.

Yea you still have the reverse lockout, I love my B&M, you can rip through the gears even faster and smoother!

R&C RallySS - You've got mail.

On stiff priced items like B&M and many of the other large brands out, there isn't always a whole lot of play with pricing. Obviously IF (big IF there) the # of purchases exceded 20-30 or more, then the pricing would come down further. Until those kind of #s show interest, the price can't be moved. No hurt in asking though.

The Hurst shifter we do carry as well. Sale price would be $140.00. They are currently out of stock, waiting for the next shipment.

Jason are you doing $140 shipped to us or what. Your price states $132.75 in the first post so what is the deal?

The B&M shifters have not changed. All the originally posted info is current. Comes to $141.50 shipped in the US.

Just curious..this is my first car with a reverse Lockout...is it any different from a normal car without the lockout on it? or does it slide into reverse extra easy on this car?

I haven't installed one on a Cobalt... but I know on most other cars installation is fairly basic (& basic tools), with the instruction sheet. Time can be 30-90 minutes depending on the time needed to get the center column area apart.

Scale of 1 - 10 (1 being the easiest), its about a 1.5. Maybe a 30 minute job. Only tough spot is the directions from B & M are **** .
When removing the stock knob from the shifter, make sure you remove the top plastic piece and get that star screw out. Directions state that the knob will come off with a slight tap with a rubber mallet, not true unless you remove that screw.

Center area console snaps off in about 2.3 seconds. Start with the cup holders in the back seat and work your way forward. If memory serves there's a good how to in here somewhere. Do a search, and enjoy.

Got mine installed a few weeks back, still stoked getting in the car and going for a drive. Shift is tighter and the feel is stronger than the stock shifter.
