How do we remove the key hole from the stock trunk I can't pull the locking mechanism out

There's a metal securing plate with a tab, it's a pain but it slides right out, once that's out the key cylinder slides out forwards, then there's three bolts on the bottom if I remember correctly undo those then the latch mechanism comes out. once all that's out unplug the cable and you're good to go.

Thanks alot I got it out. Is it recommended to remove the struts or whatwer on the trunk so it doesn't fly open

What's the fastest you've been up to without hood pins? I just had mine up to 90 and I was nervous lol.

160+ without pins, I want pins but havent invested in them yet

yeah mine sits a bit high on the driver side ill eventually try to adjust it more but its fine for now
