Yeah that's correct. You can rent the box at any time for free, we just charge a security deposit that is refunded in full when you send the black box back, within 60 days. We can sell you a black box too if you wanted to keep it. The LSJ tunes are $184 on sale


EDIT: I just noticed you're in FL, if you wanted to make the drive to palm beach you wouldn't have to rent or buy a box, we just do the tune in person for no extra charge.

 

Curious as to how this works, I have a currently stock '06 LSJ, I still haven't installed my 2.9" pulley and 60# injectors because I haven't done any cooling mod at the moment. Can I still order a tune and wait until my parts are all installed before plugging/tuning my ECU? Or is this a one time deal and I need to return the cable afterward?

 

The tune sale price doesn't include the cable rental or anything. You can buy the tune now, I'll send it to you via email, then whenever you are ready to do the install you just rent the cable.

Im in the same boat, i have all my parts in my living room, just need to get a tune that will allow me to install/run 60# injectors. That drive would not be worth the 200 refundable deposit. Ill just spend the 200 then return it for a refund,if yall were closer i would be down for the drive but beyond miami is toooo far

It doesn't include the cable, you must buy it separate if you want one to have with you at all times or rent one, which would be you pay money they send it, you send it back and they refund your money.

I just want a review on the header from bad mab has anyone had one on for a while?

 

I have an 08 L61, would a 2.4 intake manifold and shorty header be considered minore modifications if I wanted to retune when I do those mods?

Fits just like the stock manifold. Goes great with a 3" downpipe. The stainless is not top of the line, but it is stainless so it may discolor, but will not rust through. The quality is VERY good for the price. The warranty and exchange warranty is also very good, although I have not had to use it. This is the cheapest place to buy this header, even cheaper than directly from Bad-Mab

I recently purchased and installed this header on my 2006 Cobalt SS/SC. Fitment was not a problem at all and everything went on smoothly. The header sounds amazing and I have no problems with it at all. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend.
