a header is a power adder whereas an aftermarket strut is a piece that helps you utilize what power you have better

You will wear out your stock struts quickly on sportlines. I think mine lasted me about 10,000 miles until i switched over to the Koni's.

Koni yellows are sick shocks. they are the best shocks for daily driving use and the only thing better is full blown coilover setup which usually is no fun for daily driving. i had a pair on my 00 civic si and it was amazing. on a side note is seems as though the engineering slacked on the cobalt model. the reason i say that is because on the civic si model the perches were adjustable. you could actually "lower" your vehicle with these shocks by adjusting the purches. additionally, you have to take the wheel off to adjust the rears?? I dont like this but hey i am sure there is a reason for it. with all that being said when i have funds im putting these on my t/c. the price is right to so eat em up!

I agree....the shocks are a little better designed for the Honda's but its due to the simplistic OEM supension geometry of the Hondas and the complicated geometry of the cobalts.

you should see my RX8's rear suspension...no upper or lower control arms, just 5 links per side that attach form subframe to the hub.

I am getting these installed tomorrow. should i print out the how to on how to install these and put it in the box... do you think it will cut the time shorter? also i saw somewhere one shop said they didnt know how to put the fronts on.

also, should i just go with firm backs. i dont care about how smooth the ride is, so since i dont care is keeping it strictly firm a good idea???

they also said they would go ahead and throw the sway bar on while its up on the stands, so i should def. feel a difference. if i dont, then o well, i would have needed new shocks anyway soon, and these are yellow so i guess its a win win situation..

so, i got these installed. to the tune of 400 bucks, haha ,long story but i got a thread about it. it runs 100 times better, i feel like my car is a lot quicker too and def. less bounce. maybe before with the extra bounce it kind of slowed the car down, i dont really know how it all works, but i went up to 60 mph a lot quicker than normal.

def. worth the june special, but the god damn shop that over charged me, they can go to hell

oh, and i want to be in the koni club
