rears are on, had to check and make sure i was orienting the tab on the top plate correctly, pics to follow!

 

was it easy to get the spring coil ends over the bottom insulator? Hyperco have been working on the finishing coil i.d. with the massive machine which does all this coil work.

 

yea too easy, i thought about emailing you, its kinda loose on there, but i was going to see if it makes any noise while i drive.

 

BTW i took a bunch of before and after pics i will post them later tonight if i get the chance. and a side by side comparison of YYZ v2's next to SSC's

 

too tight before, now too easy? lol. The insulator grip on the inside diameter is not a requirement as far as I know, on the lower one the center serves as a cover for the steel nipple on the beam and as an insulator for contact from the bump stop. On the stock car its a "fall out fit" Its only on the Pedders that it was impossibly hard to install, and the v.1 were not that easy either.

The spring sits on the insulator both top and bottom and has pressure at all times from the spring which remains in contact with the insulator through the limits of travel set by the shock length....same for the front there is a very lite interference fit to the top insulator ( rubber) and none at the lower insulator (plastic)

 

ok, i figured it was fine, some guys are already on v2's and arent complaining, i thought about it and continued on. car sits a little higher, but i still happy with it. gotta take a shower and head to work. cant wait for the on-ramp!

 

Got my springs installed last night, took an hour to install. It was really hard to get a good judge as to how the springs performed last night since i was getting trashed by nasty wind! The car certainly felt more planted and seemed to take on bumps better than stockers, I couldnt believe how great they drove... i have never actually experienced an aftermarket spring that was more comfortable and performs better haha!
