HID Kit & LED Bulb GroupBuy! - BuyHIDs.com Tax Season SALE!
I got my LED cup holder kit in the mail today along with 2 buyhid.com stickers but no instructions that the website came with the kit. So unless you shipped the instructions out seperatly (I am assuming that you didn't because it is probaly just a piece of paper) I have no way of instaling my kit because I have no idea how to. my order number is 4415425197. So if you could email me or something like that a copy of the instructions that would be helpful

mkulrey,
I received my map and license plate leds, the maps stay on is this normal. Not fully illuminating, but they stay lit like a very low light. You wouldn't even notice it if I didn't look directly at the maps you catch my drift? When I open the door, man it's bright as hell so it's no where near that, but I don't want a drained battery if I leave my car off for a week or something you know?
Also, my license plate LEDs don't fit in the housing, is this normal? I don't wanna force it and break the LED. How do I get it to fit? I actually did force it and it stopped working, but when I twisted off the connection to the housing the LED worked again. Did I get a bad batch? So I re-read this and it doesnt' really make much sense so I'll rephrase it.
My license plate LED doesn't work when it's all the way into the cable (socket) if it's slightly out it lights, but I have to force the housing (that connects to bumper) to twist lock the cable into the housing. So when I have to leave the cable barely resting in the housing. Every once and awhile it'll go out anyway. It's almost if the LED is too small or the cable itself is defective.

The License plate lights fit perfectly. Theres plenty of members here that are using them (including me
) They all came from the same batch. Maybe your socket is screwy? PM me and we'll warranty it! The map lights, Honestly ive never noticed it haha. Mine have been in all winter and the cars in storage. Started up just fine.

To address the map lights. I've heard that from other people who have put in LED's...it's not a problem because LED's take such a small amount of power to run...you could leave it for a few months and not drain your battery.
I believe it's 50-75% LESS energy than a standard bulb at FULL output so the slight output it's putting out is taking just about no power.

I was just trying to put the one person's mind at ease with the fact that he said they are on slightly all the time...just trying to get the point across that LED's are the most energy efficient bulbs I know of and you don't have to worry about that draining anything...

I wish mine ******* worked! I think it's the cable, but I'm not sure. I can't put the LED bulb all the way in or it fails to work. If I leave it out slightly it lights, but I can't put it in the housing because the bulb gets pushed in.
I hate it. Something is wrong, not sure if the bulb is wrong or my cable is bad.

Looks like the link still shows pricing for HID's at 60 bucks, this still valid?
Also, I ordered some HID's and headlights in the past...maybe from you, but I forgot. I can't tell if they're 6K or 8K...they look kind bluish, but I ordered 6K so I'm not sure. How can I tell? I want to order HID fogs, but I want the color to match.
