I actually ran it for several weeks with the silencer in. Gotta love living in a gated community. Then my friend wanted to hear what it sounds like with the silencer out. Talk about a pain in the ass. Think was stuck together from carbon buildup so I had to use a screwdriver to pry the silencer out half a inch or so till I could grab it with some pliers and pull it out.
So anyway, with the silencer in the exhaust is only a little louder then stock, about at the GMPP Sport level. Gains are good in the mid range, but you can feel it choke in the high range. Sounds pretty good, bassy with a touch of rasp and whine.
After pulling the silencer out, that butt dyno gain you felt in the mid range goes all the way to redline. And the exhaust gets *LOUD* at WOT. At idle or low rpms, it is fairly noticeble to people outside, but not to bad. But when you go WOT, well, hope you weren't listening to anything important. The sound without the silencer is nearly pure bass, with gurgles, pops, and crackles.
I do have the GMPP honed manifold, so that most likely changes the sound slightly. My buddy who asked me to take out the silencer (a Stang guy, he has a heavily build '03) told me it sounds closer to a V8 then a four banger. I have to agree, but then your ears might be slightly different.

So far NGA is horrible with replies. They've provided little information and when I saw them online earlier, I sent a PM requesting information for a money order for my payment since I don't have a credit card. I sent a PM yesterday about the same thing. I have yet to receive a reply. I don't think I am ordering from them and therefore am backing out of this if I do not receive any information.

I sent my money order as a payment today via priority mail. They said it should arrive either Monday or Tuesday.
By the way NGA, this is awkwardmeaning. I changed my username to match my custom license plate.
