Features

* Big handling improvements
* Reasonable ride quality
* External rebound adjustment on most cars
* Best KONI shock for all lowering springs
* Re-buildable and re-valveable for custom vehicle setups
* Yellow exterior finish
* Lifetime Warranty

The Koni Sport product line is one of our specialities. Koni serves Sporting Drivers with a carefully designed range of sport shock absorbers. This product focuses on exceptional road holding and handling, combined with a reasonable level of driving comfort. They can also be used with spring kits to lower a vehicle up to 35mm.

Many of the Koni Sport dampers are externally adjustable by means of an adjustment knob at the top of the damper. This means you do not have to remove the damper from the vehicle to adjust the rebound forces. This enables you to fine tune the handling & ride to suit your driving style.

Dampers without the top adjustable feature can still be adjusted, although they will need to be removed from the vehicle to achieve this. You may wish to use lowered springs with the Koni Sport range, if you do this please be aware the maximum lowering permitted is 35mm. Please also ensure that any bump stops are re-fitted to ensure no damage occurs to the valving should the damper bottom out.

07MetallicSC - OK... shoot me a PM when you're ready. They're ready to go!

208REV - You're probably good with your stock shocks yet... unless you're lowered a lot, then you may want to change to aftermarket shocks sometime soon.

Interested but also looking at the TC FE5's.

EDIT: Just saw the 35mm limit.

So if they blow with my SSC springs which are 1.5" in the front, does that void my warranty?

Bump for amazing price. I got these last year around this time and they are amazing. Installation for rears are an easy swap. Front was a bit more involved but directions are very clear and with some basic tools can be completed in an afternoon. The variable adjustment is amazing and offers superior handing and ride. I would highly recommend these. This is by far the best price I have ever seen for this setup

Good question. An extra $300 over the TC FE5's is kind of a lot. lol.

Price is $550

The group buy has to start somewhere... The more that buy, the lower the price goes. Everyone will get the same overall price in the end regardless of if they buy first or last.

As far as lowering limit I'm still checking... but as far as I know there is a warranty limit for lowering. 35 mm is what I can find online, which equates to 1.378" roughly.

Regarding a lowering limit... I'm told that the only reason you may be denied a warranty claim is if their was an installation error like marks on the shaft or a car accident or something drastic - or change of ownership in car or parts. Other than those situations they should all be warrantied regardless of drop.

No. These are what keep your car from "bouncing" every time you hit a bump.

These ones are performance shocks and struts. Better handling.

They are used in combination with lowering springs because the stock ones are almost always going to blow. Eventually they will.

Check out the website for more info.

Perfect.

Jason, do you know how these compare to the TC FE5 shocks and struts? Or anyone for that matter?

I have several major modifications going on right now and an extra $300 is double the price of the TC FE5's shipped.

I have heard and read that most people with the TC's are having no problems with their suspension, on lower springs. Anyone with a TC want to verify that for me. Thanks.

^^^ Unfortunately I don't have any info regarding those other TC struts to compare to... Never used or dealt with them. Hopefully someone else will know.

Yea I've been looking at some TC's with springs on stock suspension, the only problem is not a lot of these 09's have high miles where you would normally see struts and shocks go.

I'm leaning towards this buy (Koni's) but not 100% yet. I'll let you know, and I would always prefer to go through you.

With the konis on my eclipse tighted up all the way on the rear it cut my 1/4 time by 1-2 seconds. They are way better the tc set up. The reason I say this is because you can adjust them softer or harder then the tc. Also if you want the best performance out of the konis you can send them to the factory get them revalved and set for the springs of your choice. Just after you do that you never touch the adjustment knob.
