Ceramic (Armor Coated) is better. Im sure itd be even better w/ Armor Coated + Heat Wrap.

But the ceramic's look pretty, but since you dont really see it...id heat wrap it.

If I may....Please do not use header wrap on your headers unless you plan to have them rust out after a very short time! The ceramic coating holds heat in, looks great AND has been dyno prooven to flow better the the standard painted ones. Why you ask, I'll tell you. Exhaust gases flow better at higher temps, the ceramic retains the heat traping it along with the gases in the tubes rather then radiating it out into the engine compartment. What does all this mean? About 1 to 2 ponies MORE then the standard header, cooler under hood temps, great looks, and duability. But IF you wrap it....the heat that does escape gets trapped in the wrap, you run thu dirt, and water they become trapped and now that dirt is acting like sand paper on the header and before long YOU WILL GET A LEAK! Believe me! I've personily replaced several sets of ceramic coated headers that were wrapped some were from companies such as Hooker and you can not beat Hooker Headers as far as quality is concerned. They did warrenty them but with the warning to never wrap them again or any future claims would be voided.

Sorry for jacking your thread but this is a GREAT deal and I'd hate to see someones new headers get messed up because of heat wrap.

Your welcome. Glad you didn't take it the wrong way, some people here are a tad over sensitive.

Keep up the awesome work bud!

If you do a nice coat of high temp paint before you wrap it you will not see any rust. I have done it many times on my cars and friends cars. I have taken off the wrap after 3 years of use and the header was still great. Just wrap alone depending on the climate will rust yes. Just ruff the surface with a little steel wool or sand paper, put on a few good coats of high temp paint. I let it set for at least 24 hours before I wrap it and you are set for no rust.

How long is this going on buy the way? I am looking to get the 2.0 painted.

One last question, does that include shipping? If not, what are the approximate shipping costs?

Lets see if this helps. Lets start a list and add your name to it. This way we can see how many people are in. Also TCarter do we just go to the site and place our order with this price?

Painted header:

1: RBC-Chad Tucker(2.0)

Armor Coated Header:

1:CobaltBurst(2.0)

I got a few questions for ya carter...

1. Will this header work with any downpipe?
2. Are there any issues with fitting?
3. If I buy this, can you bring it to the meet on saturday and save me the price on shipping?
4. What kinda fabrication is needed? (I can be pretty lazy at times )
