http://www.highdesertinsider.com/gif...ing_md_wht.gif How we compare to GM STAGE 2?

* 2.8" pulley vs 3.0" pulley (2 more psi)
* 60lb/hr injectors keeping the injector duty cycle (IDC) well below 80% vs GM Stage 2 IDC of 120%
* 1 step colder plugs vs no plugs
* proper A/F tune vs lean down low/rich up top tune

* 245WHP - 230WTQ our kit vs 220WHP - 200WTQ GM kit (this is on our dyno which gives relatively low numbers)

If you could include shipping out here to Alberta you may just have a deal

oh and if i just get the tune emailed to me (i know someone with hpt) is it $540 - $75 so like $465?

Not to hijack - but is that Tux the Linux penguin?? :)

Back on topic - How is the idle quality with the 60's and your tune? I have heard that the 60's are a tad difficult to get the idle and low rpm running conditions smooth. Perhaps something to do with the VE tables being a bit touchy with the 60's. Could you give a bit of detail about how safe the tune is without giving away any "tuning secrets"?? If I get this, I just want to be sure that the tune is safe a I will not be getting HPTuners anytime soon.

Thanks for any answer you can give!

So what is the total price before taxes if you get the tune sent via email? Still a $100 deposit too?

P.S. Is there tax for Canadian residents?

Immortal Technique 02-04-2008 11:07 PM

Whats the price in American dollar?

We pay the GST upfront when buying from Rebel.
If we were buying from a US company, we'd pay it at the post office.

K-Train04RL 02-05-2008 01:54 AM

im in, i think give me a day to think about it b/c it will make funds low for 2 weeks, but i think i can manage it.

Idles pretty much same as stock, we make sure the tune is safe, that's why we have tested this tune on a good 20 cars so far.

yes Canadians have to pay the 5% in all provinces except ontario which is 13%:thumbsdow

But it actually evens out because shipping to Canada is cheaper than to US and no shipping for locals in ontario, well most;)

The price does not include any tax. The deposit is to be included for the GB, nothing to do with the tune. Email tune will save you $75.

$567, but cheaper if you pay in Canadian and let your Credit Card convert it, refer to the following:

yes we can, but you would have to send us your PCM again or you can buy a spare one, they're relatively cheap used

it's around $20-25

Alpine_Canada 02-06-2008 01:21 AM

So i'm looking at $540-$75(email tune)=$465+5%(tax)=$488.25+$20(shipping)= $508.25(If my math is right)?????

How much would it cost for a deposit for you to send me the pcm...

Im very interested in this, if i can get rid of my brand new never used gm stage 2 with nate 2.85" colormatched pulley, I'd be all over this like a fat kid on cake LOL

I think it's shipping, then tax.
$540-75+20 = 485 + 5% = $509.25 (wow a dollar more )

boostbalt 02-06-2008 11:05 AM

Yes, I am in if you can please let me know what the deposit on the ECU is, I have the cash in hand.

Haha I was right, You were wrong! I think there shipping is a flat rate. Either way, $1 more or less should be no big deal. See what my funds look like and hopefully have this thing ordered asap.

Yeah... well.... well I'll be faster.... mehhhh!

On a less childish note... I'd say it's well worth it.... I probably ended up spending more for the same stuff due to shipping.

You better be faster. We need someone to compete with some of the modded SRT-4's around here.

No, I know what guy your talking about. I'm talking about the one guy that has an SRT-4 that's in the 12's (he's on 306motorclub). I'm not sure what that ACR runs.

Omega_5 02-06-2008 05:23 PM

You mean the dude from Regina?
Yeah... I'd like to keep up with him... but I think he might be a bit out of reach without spray.
I'm trying to be pessimistic about my build... that way I won't be disappointed...

tREBs 02-06-2008 06:18 PM

one more thing before i decide... what supporting mods would u reccomend? i will have a full exhuast intake and as it sits stage 2...
