Hi djblass,

The M1 Abrams shift knob does fit the TWM short shifter. Actually the reason Cobalt does not appear in the drop down menu on the shift knob page is because it only fits on the TWM short shifter and not the stock shifter shaft. The TWM shifter shaft is threaded M12 x 1.25, you should be able to choose that thread size and pitch on the M1 Abrams page if you choose the first option in the drop down menu "shop by thread size".

I'll PM you now since you're a repeat customer

Thanks,

Kevin

Hey, I've been looking at picking one of these up since I got my car. How much of a difference does a weighted knob make?

Thanks,
Tom

I've been using weighted shift knobs since before we started the company and will never go back to stock. My opinion may be a little biased, but I honestly feel a short shifter and weighted shift knob is one of the best mods for the money. Once the shifter is in motion, the next gear engages almost on it's own with a weighted shift knob

I usually alternate between the Type R and Desert Eagle knobs, but all of our shift knobs are very comfortable.
