when you lower the car, the wheels stay in the same spot, but the motor and tranny get closer to the ground, so the axle flexes at the ‘knuckle’ or whatever its called. it moves the tranny up to prevent axle bind or a broken axle.

 

Cool thx for the feedback DSmastery! Now that i know i can keep stock height, thats what ill prolly do till i save up for a new set of tires/rims. Any other components that i should be planning to get to compliment the coilovers? all my mods r in sig and am totally noob so im playin it by ear =) much appreciated!

 

steering rack spacers are helpful and rotated mounts are good, the stg2 ones

u would go back to stock upper mount and pull that ingalls mount off

as the rotated mounts replace the 2 tranny mounts but the 2 top mounts need to be stock as one mount isnt being replaced.
pretty much there are 4 points and u strengthen 3 but not one so its best to just do the 2 tranny ones.

the rotated mounts get rid of wheel hop

 

Not true at all, adjusting ride height cause your alignment to go out (camber,caster, toe). That's why it's always recommended to get an alignment immediately after you lower (or in some cases lift) vehicles.

So was there an update on the coilovers being done with production. As the ship date approaches I get concered because the timeframe provided is right at 46 days out from payment.

PayPal offers protection for 45 days, which I used and paid with my bank.

I know you guys are reputable, I just think for the amount of money that we all put down a few more updates would be sweet.
