Sorry for the delays in responses guys. I've been under the weather and things have been hectic with the move to our new 100,000sqft facility.
Unfortunately, I am out of stock on the OE style hoods until late next month. We use an epoxy resin to set the carbon and then apply a premium automotive clearcoat to the part which allows us to offer our industry leading 1yr warranty against hazing/fading of the clearcoat. We recommend hood pins with all of our hoods as it gives that extra safety measure in the case something catastrophic happens to the latch.

Is it a picture from our website? At this time, we don't offer anything like that in carbon but we are working on the lip and if I can get it approved, carbon fenders.
Unfortunately, we don't. If you or one of your fellow sedan-ers would like to give us their trunk so we can manufacture one in carbon, I can see if I can get that approved. If you gave us yours, you would receive the carbon part at no charge.

Did I give you that price? If I did, I apologize because it's not correct. Shipped to Alberta through me would be $503 US but that does not include duties/fees/taxes associated with importing the part.

Price for an oem hood shipped to 43125?... I need this right away. Need to know how soon I can get this. How is the quality of the resin on these hoods as to much carbon fiber parts producers have poor quality. Also are hood pins required? If no, how good is the hood latch?
