No, you do not reuse the OEM Clips.

One of our employees has this lip, and all that was used to install was 3M double adhesive tape and a few screws.

 

Screws into the bottom so that no holes would be apparent should you switch back to stock?

Sounds like the grocery store (Giant Eagle,) I used to work at. They would rather hire another minimum wage person then pay someone 1 minute at time and a half.
