Why should someone have to camber adjustment bolts when a two plate works just as well?

Maven just hates on everyone that doesn't do what he does, and if they do, he hates on them for copying him. That's what it's starting to seem like.

I havent made up my mind, but they do seem to be the best of the bargain coilovers.

I dont hate on people that dont do what i do,I just think that A LOT of people dont have any clue when it comes to thinking things through or planning stuff out, or only buying what they need.

I dont hate on people for copying me either......if someone decides they wanna do something Ive done or do something the same/similar way as I have done, more power to them. Not sure if you could find a post of mine where I was hating on someone because they copied me.

In many cases I try to be the voice of reason if i can, and if I cant, I at least try to offer up alternative ideas.

This thread in particular......obviously a camber/caster plate wasnt something they were looking to do, otherwise they woulda done it(they dont even do it on their top of the line external reservoir, mulit adjustable jams...) They were going for a camber plate, because thats what they put on everything......and what everyone wants. My thing is why bother wasting the time, effort, money to reengineer the top plate into a camber plate when camber is already adjusted at the knuckle, and there is no way to adjust caster, so just keeping it as is would save time and money and would the customer something they actually need.

Maven you definitely make some good points and I understand where you're coming from. I'm definitely looking forward to being able to adjust the caster because as you said it's something that was previously not doable with the suspensions that were offered. And since camber is like you said already adjustable then it'd be the best of both words just as the original set is.

I will be discussing this with Dave, the owner of Stance on Tuesday when we will be discussing the best option.

Its up to you guys though....

If everyone wants to keep the caster plates...than caster plates it is!!!

I will also see if we can do both...

Please A vote before Tuesday would be appreciated

Quick question for those who have done this before. I know the front struts mount differently in the Ion's but do they use the same springs all the way around? My buddy wants lowering springs and that would help us both out.

Alright cool just checking. I've only looked at it from up top so I wasn't sure how different they were. It's no big deal just figured I coulda saved him some cash and me the hassle of shipping them.
