How can you possibly need new pads and rotors on an 08 tc? I have an 06 SC with 22,000 miles on it and its still bran spankin new looking. I just need front pads and I don't want to do rotors but my brother is yelling at me to get new rotors even though the front rotors seem perfectly fine as well. You don't need new rotors everytime you change your breaks do you? I never did that with any other car i've owned?

Received and installed them!!
So far everything's good. I can't say much as far as performance...I assume they are still breaking in, cause it's nothing great yet. But it looks a lot better than the old rusty ones!
Thanks THM!!!!

I have changed the breaks on my Cobalt 2 times prior, and somehow, as I was driving yesterday, one of my caliper bolts fell off while I was driving! Luckily I retrieved the bolt and it took me about 30 minutes to fix it on the side of street with the factory jack.
Thank god my caliper didn't completely come off, but it did slide down a little bit. So be careful guys and make sure those bolts are TIIIGHHT!!
Other than my ******* mistake, this setup kicks ass!

Yea I was not very happy. Hopefully they'll be here today and they'll get on and everything will be good. Just sucks being promised them on between 2 certain days and I actually get them over FOUR WEEKS LATER then I should when my brakes are shot to hell now and I have to use friend's cars to get to work because mine isn't safe to drive......
