It's real simple. If you don't like it don't buy it. And don't bother those that us that have. What is your end goal here anyway? Are you looking to shoot down a site vendor's sales? Is that your deal? I can't think of any other reason to post what you're posting.

Problem for you is that we have all paid already. Do you think we're all going to ask for our money back because you came and trolled this thread? Seriously, move on troll.

I am probably the only person to have seen the finished mold since I was the test car. It looks great and I'm confident the actual trunk will fit just like an OEM one. Ed has always produced high quality products and don't see why it would be any different for this trunk.

HAHAHA GTFO NOOB!! How much "testing" or "proving" do need on a trunk? Either it fits or it doesnt. I'm sure if the trunk comes back and looks like **** or doesnt work, ED will make it right somehow. Everyone who bought one new the deal before they put their money down. You dont know WTF you are talking about, so agian.. GTFO or STFU!!

Yes, we have sold something that has not seen final production yet, but the prototype is what we were selling. OEM trunk with a wing mounted on the rear lid so it flows with the lines of the car and is only a one piece design. I have not broken any promises and I've been up front with everyone all along. Also, I am not sitting here making new parts for the Cobalt community so I can loose their trust. Once we get the trunk back redline_007 will be back here again so we can test fit the piece to confirm there are no major issues. If there are issues I will not expect anyone to pay the rest of the money and we will work on getting the problem resolved immediately. Even if I have to fly out to China myself.

I beg to differ, just a little. I've been fortunate enough to sell alot of Carbon products here to members on the board. I have yet to experience an issues with fitment. Im just sayin..

Everyone else! I really appreciate all the kind words and for standing up for this thread, trunk and our company. Just try to refrain from calling anyone any kinds of names. The guy has a few concerns and I am more then willing to address them. I would do the same if I was about to put down this much money for a trunk.

You guys are awesome lol!!

Holy thread/product bashing.

If you don't like it, then don't buy it, it's that simple. I'm bummed that it's taking so long to get here, but I know it's going to be worth it when it does

There have just been so many set backs. Its hard as heck to get the Product Development manager to send me an email reply sometimes haha. Unfortunately, since I am not in China I just can't walk over the check the status. I am just as anxious to see this as anyone else here. But its still a while away!

I was skeptical about CF part fitment at first too based on what I heard. I really wanted one but was worried my hard earned dough would be gone. I finally took the risk, bought a trunk and after bolting it on I could see it did not fit well... BUT you know what? GM has made allowances for adjusting the fit of the trunk! That means that they expect even their parts to vary and need to make allowances for adjustments. I was able to get mine to fit and line up better than the stock trunk by using the adjustments GM provided. All done in less than 10 minutes too!

If there was as high a demand in the Sedan trunk as there was for this trunk it would not be an issue.

That's a good idea, problem is winter is coming soon and I've switched back to the OEM stuff already. I'll keep it in mind for the spring and take a bunch of pictures.

Lol. I really appreciate your looking out. Thank you very much. But you dont need to worry here, I try to keep it as civil and professional as possible. The other members who have an issue with our product can be addressed by me personally. I am sure you have tons of other threads to monitor. Once again thank you!
