I'm sorry, but that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard in my life. Why the hell would you care who ends up with the thing? You don't even have to ship it. Rissa is willing to pay the remainder and pick it up, which essentially saves you the work of getting it shipped, and you won't let her do it?

Well the bad news is no one asked for your opinion, good news is that this is a public forum so I will respond to you as well. I am not allowing anyone to transfer over their trunks, unless they get it shipped to the address they provided me with. So there's no reason to be a hero and stand up for Rissa, she can handle it herself. I wasn't trying to be rude to her, but rules are rules and they are set in place so I don't have to go crazy trying to switch orders last minute. Thanks for your 2 cents.

 

Also I apologize if the comment above seems rude at all, but please don't come at me in the manner which you tried to do. Especially when you don't know the complete story and how this matter is not only with Rissa.

The paperwork that has been assigned is already set in place and has been set in place since July. Everyone had their chance to hop in on the buy if they wanted to at that time. If someone had financial troubles or left the GB then it's out of my control. I needed committed people to make this trunk happen. For those who committed great, for those who need to get rid of their trunks for financial reasons or they no longer have the car, I can understand that too. But, I can not pass over the Group Buy savings to people who have not been committed as long as the people on the list. You can not get our GB price if you did not commit yourself and continued to stay committed for the past 6-7 months. This trunk is suppose to be a limited release and will only be sold for the MSRP of $799 in Carbon unless I authorize a lower price. I have no control over what a person does with his/her trunk once they receive it, but it will only go to their name. They can change the address if they want but the name remains the same. It would make sense for us to allow Rissa to pick up the trunk and still charge SoxFan for shipping, because we make money off of shipping for a pick up. But, we are not money hungry, we just have strict business ethics. Hope that makes sense.

That and people don't understand how a business needs to run. Paper work isn't free..... And people backed out when it was announced so they had their chance. No offense to anyone but if you have an issue buy it after GB, but when you commit, you commit.

I'll try my best to have them shipped out by the end of the week but can't guarantee that. If not they will be shipped out Monday-Tuesday or next week and it'll take about 6-8 business days for the easy coast, 5-7 business days for central and about 3-5 business days for west coast.
