When you bought your engine mount did you buy the tranny mount with it? Someone was saying that you really need the tranny mount as well cause if you just put the engine mount then it will create extra strain on the engine? Can someone let me know a little more about this?

 

Yes it is best to do both, the tranny ones are only about $50.00 for the set of 2

 

this will go for a couple weeks i think.

 

And would it be best to have someone install the tranny mounts for me, people say that they are harder to install if you do not have the right tools.

you need a vice for the tranny inserts. the hardes part is getting the engine supported to pull the tranny mounts!

At the very least...try using a press if you can.

Of course do one mount at a time...and the rear mount can be a little tricky.
