Here is my reason for not buying now - I am a Canadian and exchange rates are changing quite rapidly. I mentioned in a previous post that I purchased Projectors from the GB on here and never received them. I asked for a refund. I got the refund, but at the current exchange rate and lost $15.00US - doesn't seem like a lot, but it adds up. SOOooo if I know that the total count of people paid is at 5 then I can purchase knowing I am getting the final price. If I were living in the states this wouldn't be an issue and I would have ordered already. Also, if we get 6+ the shipping is cheaper.

 

Tell ya what, with whats been said.

What are the choices for the knobs? I like the stock one. Would it be possible to keep that one w/ the short throw shifter?

 

Yes. You can keep the stock one, but the one that comes with it is weighted, so it requires less effort to shift.

But you CAN use the stock one, or if you like one you see at autozone..you can use that too.

Installed and works great. However, I seem to have an "extra part" . It's from the stock unit somewhere, and it must have fell out. I have no idea where it goes but its working fine without it. It's a small plastic piece with a roller bearing on one end and a tiny spring on the other end. It was full of grease so I think it either was or is important.

Any ideas?
