Vinyl Wrap Group Buy? Hoods, Roof, Trunk, Carbon Flat Black

Hey Guys, I was just wondering what the interest would be on a group buy for vinyl wrap. I would like to sell them in exactly the length you need to do certain parts of your car. For a group buys sake I would probably do Carbon Fiber and Matte/ Flat Black.

I have access to very realistic looking carbon fiber wrap. Not the cheesy 3M stuff that doesnt look real at all.

Here is an example of what I can get.

Name: carbon%20fiber%20Vinyl2_zpsdbiksf2p.jpg

If there is interest in this I would need a bit of help with some measurements from your Cobalts.

I'd maybe be in for the roof. Never have tried to wrap and who knows how hard it'll be with the sunroof

Its not to difficult to put but you do need some materials and you need to do a wet install to get all air bubbles out.

It is not 3m brand. 3m makes there own brand as do plenty of other manufactures. 3m is not the only nor the best adhesive manufacturer.

vinyl wrap you do NOT want to apply wet. The vinyl is made with air channels in the adhesive so that it does not bubble. All you need is a razor blade, a soft squeegee, and a heat gun/ blow drier. The heat allows it to conform over contours.

If anyone could get me some measurements for the hood, trunk, and roof I can put some prices together. I need the measurements of how wide and long each item is at its longest point.

regular vinyl is great applied wet but any of the wrapping films are best applied dry. If you do them wet it will trap the water in the air channels and that could cause problems later on.

Are you printing the pattern or buying something pemade? If printing or are you also doing a lam?
Just curious because I have access to both through my work. We don't do vehicle wraps but do large format indoor and outdoor signage. Most of the installs are to flat surfaces so I wasn't sure if a lam would cause a problem

Also agree with the op. No need for water in the install if it has channels

No I am not doing any of the printing. I dont think any one person would be able to make a cost effective vehicle wrap like this. This stuff is specially made for wrapping cars so I know it will hold up.

I just need the longest overall dimensions of each. Length and width. So that I can send one sheet of vinyl to cover that entire part of the car. Hood, Trunk, and Roof.

Many thanks if you can do it!
