Maybe you can order a stainless combo, and sell your old combo, or see if they will take it back or something. It appears that it was a fluke.

If you read that entire thread, it seems ColeJJones is the only person to have problems with rusting. Everyone elses (even those with high-temp paint) seems to be holding up just fine.

Its a tough call, I understand, but in terms or price and probability, you should have no problems. Even if you go with S.S. it is cheap, and its a great product.

Yeah, I mean a stainless header, top of the line everything, what would the total be? I'd have to weigh that against my other plans, and also look at how much I could sell the stuff off my car for.

The Stainless Package without discount is $569.99.
You can add Bung/Plug, and/or Magnaflow Cat to either package.
Then there is also the cat-back option which is an automatic 25%.
It depends on what you want.

There are quite a few people running the 2.2liter motor who are participating in this group buy. My suggestion for any 2.2 would be to run 1.5" header primaries in high temp. paint and 2.5" downpipe with either 2.5" or 3" bolt-in. Downpipe size variably depends on if you're running boost or not. With boosted applications, I would run a full 3" exhaust from the header back... If you are doing so and are interested in a cat back exhaust as well, zzp is offering to include their stainless steel 3" cat back at 25% off for anyone who is in this group buy. That puts this top of the line cat back at $435!! Other options are available as well. For those of you with wideband, an extra o2 bung hole is available so that the wideband may be used. ZZP is offering to send a prepayed shipping label to those who would be interested in sending their downpipe with cat converter still attached. In return, zzp will send you a $50 coupon good on your next purchase through zzp.
