2010 Suspension

Is there really anything that can be done or favored to do to improve the cars suspension.

Stock it feels like it is on rails as is and I am not AutoX racer I prefer straight line haha.
But this could be do to the fact that I am coming from a 5000lb brick. I know lowering can improve looks as well but not really looking to give up the ride quality. Unless it is not changed?

Just wondering if there were any weak points in the suspension that people upgrade to Poly or is she good to go?

Sorry I know probably a fairly easy question but I am new to the platform. Its a 2010 SS.

Generally you make the ride and handling worse by going lower. The stock suspension on the TC is already really good but there are a few things you can do. A popular upgrade is a rear sway bar. If you were feeling really generous, Koni shocks are a bit of an upgrade as well. If you wanted a bit more low, Powell springs are an option, but v3 is in the works to make them fit a bit better.

Thanks sounds good. So no Control Arm bushings or anything like that are required? I do love the suspension as is now. And With my mileage Koni may be a option in the somewhat near future. And I will look into the rear sway bar. Low I am not really concerned on being 6'5 I am already dropping down to get in and I like the ride quality the way it is.

Thanks Again!

What do you mean in the works? I ordered a set of Powell's YYZ V.3 springs yesterday. Only change is the rear springs are coiled tighter around the bump stops. I have a full set of Koni shocks/struts in my car and installed a Powell hardcore swaybar two nights ago. It's the the best combination of handling and ride quality. The drop is very minimal since the handling is compromised with less suspension travel.

You may want to contact Powell about front bushings. They run around $200 and will help improve steering feel/response since most are ruined when looked at. Lastly just the front swaybar endlinks, you can either order moot endlinks for about $60 or adjustable endlinks from Powell for about $150.

Oh, I wasn't aware they were finished. Yeah there's the ride travel and in order to go lower somewhat comfortably, the springs need to be softer than stock when going lower.
