4 lug to five lug?

ok heres the thing,i searched this topic and didn`t come up with the answer i was looking for. ok i get that the parts are interchangable but would i need to just swap hubs or do i have to do the complete axle set up to.
only reason is i found a set of rims that i like better than mine but it`s only five lug and i want them pretty bad. any help would be appreciated greatly.

The chances they're even for a Cobalt 5 lug is pretty damn slim. There's only a handful of aftermarket rims that fit our 5 lug pattern, and only a few factory GM ones even do..

got good news and bad for ya. according to my research if the pontiac g6 is using the 2.4l or the 3.5l motor then you are good as golden. but if its the 3.6 or 3.9 then the splines are different because that car model uses the f40 transmission.

thats about all i got for ya.

ask Maven. he converted his 4 lug to 5 lug, and knows GM cars in and out. He'll tell you what you need

maven swapped axles I believe. To get a 5 bolt you could look into the cobalt sport or pontiac G5 2 LT with the 5 bolt pattern and check with the dealer for part numbers.
