I had B&G lowering spring on my fe3 suspension and the ride was horrible, the springs are actually softer than stock. performance on track was marginal at best and on the street just plain bad. The s2 coilover set up I fear would be about the same as they use the same spring. It'll drop nice and low, but you sacrafice ride and handling.

Ride's fine on my ss/Tc, your going to sacrifice ride quality when going low, so that should be expected. I don't road race or anything like that, so can't comment on handling, I didn't buy the springs for the handling aspect.

I don't know why anyone would willingly give up ride and handling just to look lower to the ground. The whole idea of lowering is to lower the center of gravity thus make the car handle better. Then find a shock package that mates up well. The B&G springs don't mate up to fe3 supsension very well. Their coilover maybe better I dont know having just used their lowering spring. I'm running on pedder/fe5 right now and the ride is good, handles much better than stock or b/g on stock shocks. Going to yyz springs and koni yellows this season so we'll see. If you only want to look low I've heard good things about kw version 2 and stance's.

If you read my post again you might understand a little better. I do not road race nor do I drive the car for the aspect of handling. If you read what you are buying, ie the b&g lowering spring you will see it drops the car drastically and the spring rate it offers, thus knowing that you should know the ride/handling may suffer. These springs work well for me, because I was looking for a drastic drop, it also doesn't ride bad on my ss/Tc. It's also hard for me to believe that many people on this forum can exploit this car to its full potential on a road course or street, or for some to even be able to pin point handling differnce's on the street between springs. This spring did what I wanted, lower the car drastically.
