B&G or SSC lowering springs
B&G or SSC lowering springs
I cant choose which springs to get. In my sig it shows that ive got lowering springs and i do. Ive got dropzone springs...and wasnt worth the money should have saved an extra 100 bucks or so and i could have gotten something better. I like the drop of the B&Gs and SSC, but i dont know which set is the one to go for, what do you guys think?

Just the OTTP rear bar with the stock springs you got is a great handling package. Just no drop.
The extreme drop guys here seem to go with coil overs or air bags. Allan Kraska on RLF has an Auto X Redline with Pedders coil overs, really likes them. Live wire (forget his handle) on here has a killer Balt TC on Stance, he likes them. Coil overs give you the range of ride height adjustment you want. I favor the KW coil over but thats just by internet browsing I have not tried them, but they have Bilstein internals thats a big plus.
Stock TC struts and shocks are pretty darn good, with Pedders springs they are A1 for handling. Try OTTP good people to deal with....get a package with a rear bar....
OP none of the springs you have mentioned are equivalent to what you have. Only Pedders are close and the spring rate with them is no greater than you have stock, its just different in its range. But the drop is nowhere compared to whatyou want. So make up your mind and if its extreme drop you want, be satisifed with *speaks frankly* a crappy ride and handling performance compared to what you got stock.

basically ill some something up for you aswell............h&r b&g ssc and the eibach sportlines will give you a sick looking drop but they wont give you the improved handeling you looking for on stock lnf struts and tend to make the ride more harsh. also b&g's ive heard cause axle binding. rack spacers are definately needed with these springs aswell
pedders and the eibach prokit are your best bet if you wanna go with springs. pedders definately have the upper hand though considering the drop the entire car a bit where as the prokit is only a half inch in the rear. they will give you better then stock handling for auto x and driving.
if your in no rush save up and buy coilovers since ive noticed you are looking for kw's in the future. best thing to do for all around adjustability if you ask me. heres my suspension setup. you cant go wrong with what i have and ill recommend it to anyone
fe5 front bar
powergrid adjustable enlinks
powell/ottp hardcore bar
powell/ottp rack spacers
powell/ottp stage 2 rotated mounts
powell/ottp control arm bushings
stance coilovers(or your choice of coilovers)
