Ball joint

I have a 2007 cobalt Ls. The ball joint just recently went out, so I went out and got a moog ball joint for it. Just curious what ball joint does it need a soft suspension or perfect ride ball joint?

Get the fe1 unless you plan on upgrading to fe5 arms. Be prepared, them rivets can be a pain to remove. I'm in that boat right now.

Yeah it should be the right one. They have them listed under different part numbers but I don't see how either one is different from the other.

No. Fe1 is the production code for the suspension in the car. I have an 08 LS.

Remember to have that joint greased after installation.

I cheated and took mine to a machine shop after many unsuccessful attempts of removing the rivets.
