ball joint question

hey guys ive got an 08 SS and i recently replaced the ball joints and CABs with moog components. i took the car for a test ride and the steering felt a little funky so i took it back home and jacked it up to do a double check. drivers side checked out OK when i got to the pass. side i noticed that the steering knuckle was loose around the ball joint pin so naturally i went to re-torque the pinch bolt, strange part is that it was properly torqued yet the fit is still loose. so my question is could i have been sent a wrong ball joint (FE1 or FE3 instead of the proper FE5) or some how could my steering knuckle have sustained enough abuse to actually widen the hole that the ball joint mounts into? any input would be greatly appreciated!

Measure the ball joint stud sizes and compare. The lnf fe5 is larger than the rest.
