My stock rotors are pretty much on their last leg of life. I'm looking for new ones to replace them, but I'm not sure if I should purchase Napa rotors, drilled and slotted rotors, or what? My 2008 Cobalt SS/TC is my daily driver so I don't race it. Any insight on rotors you guys have used would be great! Thanks!

 

Go to Amazon, find the stock rotors, done.

I have Napa rears with some paint on the hats and they work fine. Not tracked.

If you have questions about the stock or other front rotors, there are like four recent threads of people asking the same exact question and everybody's opinion. The summary is: R1 may crack if pushed, but just get stock.

Stock rotors are very good.

But you need to make sure to do your best to lube up the new pads and slide pins really well before bolting it all together.

Stock rotors are great. R1 Concept rotors are good, very pretty if you like the drilled/slotted look, don't track them though.

I have R1 premium slotted rotors that have over 40k of very spirited driving miles and a TON of stop and go traffic miles on them with 0 issues on the front and factory rotors on the rear. Car is my daily as well. I would go full faced or slotted, would not do drilled if it is for daily use. Have heard they warp easier.
