I've been looking into lowering my 09 ss recently and I've decided on getting the yyzv2 springs, but i can't seem to find out which shocks to choose. I want a comfy ride, or at least as close to stock as i can get. I've looked into kyb's but i can't find if they will work on the ss version. Can someone chime in and help?

 

Do you have LNF, LSJ..etc? Stock shocks on LNF are fine...shocks really don't lower ur car. I mean if you want a comfy ride get YYZ's and Koni's

konis are adjustable. you can adjust it to soft or stiff

 

if your looking into replacing shock and springs you should just shell out the few hundred extra and get coils, full adjustable firm or soft and ride hight as well as other things.

I have an LNF in my car. I know the koni yellows are the best ones to use with a shock/spring app instead of a coilover app, but i can get a really good deal on the KYBs and was wondering if anyone knew if i could use their gas-a-just or something better on my 09 lnf or should i just go with somehting else? Im just trying to get some info from the sources(CBSS.net) before making my decision and spending all of that money

 

If i do go with a coilover setup, which ones are good? i was looking at the stance, but they are pricey

koni yellows and john powell yyz springs and thanks and yup enkie pf01s are the **** lol one of the best looking and lightest 5x110 rims

Ya I also ordered the yyz v.2. can't wait to get them. I'm just gonna run the stock shocks.
