Best Strut to upgrade to?

Ive had sportlines on the car for nearly 4 years now and the struts are starting to go, would my best bet be to upgrade to Fe5 struts or go aftermarket struts. The aim is to get lower. Since i just upgraded to 18 inch wheels.

FE5 is a no brainer and you can get it fairly cheap. For around $150 extra, I would go with Koni rears (I have those)...fantastic on the rear only with FE5 fronts. Set them just a tad off full soft.

He wants to drop it lower, and I'm pretty sure Pedders ride higher

Nope they dont, the drop is nice and plenty without the feeling of square tires.

fe5 + pedders+ power grid endlinks + powell hardcore rear sway= handling machine

Basically they're sub frame connectors with a built in single jack point. Yummy. I'm working on uploading the pics. Probably have to wait till I get home from work.

x2....If they are reasonable I would do them just for the jack point - makes tire swaps soooo much easier

DD just fine. Little bit more banging over bumps and such though.
Still worth it, hardly any more body flex.

Me LIKE!
Wifey - Not so much!

I'm/you're confused. Struts and shocks won't lower the car.

i was under the impression that if you switch to fe5 struts u get a little bit of a drop over the fe1 struts the ls comes with. I already have sportlines...

I don't think the FE5 struts will give you an extra 1 inch drop.

Others can chime in.

struts and shocks only control rebound and compression rates, not ride height.
