best way to go?

so i'm planning on dropping the car in a few months, and i can't make up my mind which way to go, looking for some suggestions. i do not track my car, it's my daily, and it is driven in the winter.

my original plan was to do the upgraded fe5 shocks/struts with pedders. but that plan is changing almost daily and it's driving me nuts... kind of in a good way. heh. my other thinking is koni's with pedders or ssc springs. or, should i go with a set of coil overs? was looking at the pedder's coil overs primarily because i like that you can adjust the ride and height seperatly.

looking for a good ride with good handling (anywhere near stock is fine). i don't want to kill the cars handling dropping it. also would like the setup to last at least 4-5 years, which is my concern for coil overs (unfamiliar with them, no clue how well they age).

if i go with a set of springs i'm pretty set on going with koni's. reason i'm debating the coil over's is to set my own drop. i want a bit more of a drop than the pedder's give. plus i can keep a bit of the rake look going on as well, as that's something i want to keep if i can.

CM Springs. They are exactly what you want. They are pretty much the same as stock except lower.

As a DD, I say Konis are a waste. I have no experiences with Coilovers, but as I've heard, Pedders are the best. For the best bang for the buck, I would go with the Pedders and fe5 strut/shock combo from CED.

They are nearly double in price and the only benefit for them compared to fe5 is them being adjustable. You dont need shock adjustment for a DD...
BUT, if you are using them as DD AND track, then Konis are the way to go.
But OP says its just for DD, so Konis would be a waste of money

if he plans on lowering only its still an upgrade worth having. my h&rs took a toll on stock struts. these alone were a night and day difference.

thinking koni's cause i know they're better when lowering. hold up better, last longer, and seem to handle better.

leaning towards a set of coil over's simply for the adjustability of them and setting my own drop exactly how i want it. as long as my ride is at least stock, and handling is better than stock, i'll probably save for the pedder's coil overs.

thanks for the suggestions, i'm basically looking for people's opinions and whatnot.
