better springs than sportlines

better springs than sportlines
so i currently have sportlines for my ls. i like the drop but at times i hateee the ride heres the thing i was also wondering if coil overs would be more worth it.because i want a better ride than sportlines and can go lower during the spring and summer and raise it in winter. any tad little bump i drive over its so harsh and it is anoying me.
i drive on a road to work EVERY day and looking at it, it looks clear of pot holes which it is but all the little imperfections i feel and its anoying.
so for springs what spring is better than sportlines with either the same or a tad less or more. not as low as B&G but yeah. and what coilovers are best for the money. not looking to stance the car just looking for a decent drop. not looking to remove and locking rings any anything crazy like the stanced fellas do just a decent drop and amazing ride quality.

On one SS I have Pedders Xa, on the other one I have BC. The SS with the Pedders are way smoother than the one with the BC. Before, I had Sportlines and Konis, the handling was good but if you use the car for daily driving, they will break your car in 2 after a few months.

Pedders are the best road spring, TC struts and shocks from CED the best bang for your buck. All the chiwanese coil overs are just that, and the ride is not great, damping is either ok or over/under damped depending where you set it, and most folks dont know how to adjust preload and simply slam the car to the ground so with no suspension travel, it does the ricer rock roll and pitch down the road.
Good luck wiith your choice, the smart money goes with pedders, tc front struts and koni rear shocks but koni rears are 268 compared to 99 bux. Pay your money and take your chances. Good luck.

so than if i got pedderes wouldnt it raise my car a little? since i currently have FE5 and sportlines i have 15 inch rims in the winter and 18 in summer maby i should just get different springs with the same rating as sportlines (drop wise) because im putting a front lip on my car and i really dont want to tear it off i forgot that my wheel gap is more in winter bc i have 15 inch rims. i just want a better ride quality with the same drop as sportlines

oh wow its not even that different! i was thinking id loose lisk 1.5-1.8 inches all around. what size rims are those!? i really for some reason thought that it would raise my car ALOT if i switched from sportlines to pedders. because they advertise 1.5 front and 1.6 rear. but are those specs for a SS?

And to answer your other question, the sway bars we produce change not only the torsional stiffness of the twisdting beam the way the bar is attached, it also changes the roll center at the rear. Without big technical bs about what that means theoretically practically it means that:
The car will turn in better as the rear is stiffer.
The car will respond better to power application exiting the corners as the rear bar helps plant both front wheels better.
The car will have better high speed stability and heavy brake application stability ( roll center )
The car will, if you yank the steering wheel too hard or do silly fast and furious lane changes, get loose at the rear.
To which I say, drive smooth.
and? get back on it...

SWEEET! I WANT THAT BAR! so HOLDDDD IT!!!!!
so about these pedders on the ion you posted what size wheels are those? 17?
also since i already got the bumpstops cut to the sportline specs would i need new bumpstops if i got pedders or would they be fine how they are?
thats my car on sportlines with the summer rims. it seems as if the pedders would drop it a tad lower? or not?

I am not sure who advertises what drop, I hate to state what the drop will be , its so dependent on proper install tires rims etc. The 245 fill the wheel well better than the 235 and the front suspension on the Redline requires a spring hat mod, and the Cobalt hat yeilds a bit and bends under load, and that trims the car a bit lower after a while from on track beating. But from where I sit the trim on both springs is not a lot different, the eibachs a little lower, the eibach ride is crap the spring performance is crap and the coil bind is crap.
so nothing much there for me to like lol. I even felt bad giving the eibach springs away...
