brake upgrades for a 05 LS
Hey guys this weekend Im going to change the rotors and pads. Was wondering while everything is apart if there are any upgrades I could do?
Something from the SS models ?

SS Brakes won't fit. Different Bolt pattern.
Go for the Ultra Premium NAPA Rotors and Ceramix pads if your driving a street only car. Very little dust, no noise, great wear.
Otherwise, if your gonna track your car, look at slotted rotors (dont get drilled rotors... drilled rotors are for show, the holes are removing material used to slow down and dissipate heat from the brakes) But good slotted rotors and like HAWK Or Red/Green Stuff pads are a nice touch.
Just remember, some racing applications brakes require a certain level of heat to be efficient and useful. Don't buy huge racing brakes if your car is a daily driver, because there is that chance you wont have enough heat in them for them to work properly, and you could wind up in an accident.
