Brembo Brakes
Hey I've got a 08 sport and I wanted to upgrade my brakes. I'm looking at getting some new slotted/cross-drilled all around but wanted to know if I should change the rest and also if the Brembos off the TC's would swap with my fronts? Thanks for the help.

same bolt pattern...should...cant say the same for the calipers...but it wouldnt be as cost effective as picking up some powerslots or something, or if you dont mind the money pick up afront set of dba's

But the Brembo's get the ladies. lol
Honestly, I wanted to go Brembo's.. But I'm broke.. So a solid package is to get new rotors (normal or drilled/slotted, Green Stuff pads, good brake fluid, and braided brake lines.. Supposedly that is a solid package.. You can always upgrade down the line.. You might even be able to get the calipers for cheaper in a few years because they'll end up in junkyards..

Well I've got 18"s so fit is not a problem but the price on the other hand is pretty high!! I'm looking at around 450 for the rotors and then another 700 to 1000 for the calipers...hmmm might want to want on that one haha. Thanks for the info though

if you get slotted make sure its the curvey slots not the straight line slots... wont make you stop better just the benefit of drilled and slotted rotors is quicker cooling for reasons like auto-crossing or if your at the track doing ¼ mile runs and need hard braking... they will cool down nice and fast.

Many brake manufacturers actually recommend blanks or slotted ONLY for heavy braking purpsoes like track use.l

the reason to get the curved slots is because the curve allows the air to rush faster on the side of the rotors, as opposed to the straight line giving the air no direction. how bout a prop on a marine engine boat... there not flat fins. their curved to allow MORE water to go in ONE direction as QUICK as possible. if you have just flat fins on the prop. water will splash everywhere and it will resemble a jacuzzi also your boat will not move. i have a small problem explaining stuff but if you can understand the comparison i just made it will make at least some sense. needless to say it is CSA 1982 choice though on which route he wants to take for his brakes.

the drilled rotors are the ULTIMATE in braking performance.....
but seriously....the only thing they are good for is weight reduction...
